Date Night: Extended Edition

This film is brilliant, I think Steve Carrell and Mark Wahlberg play their parts really well. I was in stitches for most of the film. A definite must see for anyone with a good sense of humour.

Just like Dinner for Schmucks this is the Second big budget Steve Carrell comedy that has left me disappointed.
The premise if a couples weekly Date Night gone wrong was ok, but for a comedy it just wasn't funny enough.
It had it's moments, but is ultimately just a time pass kind of film.
Tina Fey and Steve Carrell were Ok, but have been much better.
The highlight was the Cameo of other actors who pop in, especially the hilarious and under rated Mark Whalberg.

Don't get me wrong by my title, i did love this film. I am the biggest tina fey fan and steve carrell is always funny in my opinion. However i just felt while many bits were funny, they weren't hilarious. There are many big co-stars too with mark wahlberg, mila kunis, james franco, bill fichtner and even a small appearance from ray liotta. Do buy this movie

I was surprised of how funny this film was, very memorable! It's very funny and ideally for men and woman not just another chick flick film.

Even though I read pretty much all good reviews on this film, I still wasn't sure. So I decided to check it out, and I'm 100% agreeing! This movie is hilarious. Carell and Fey were perfect together, they had great comedic chemistry, the script was great, the acting was superb, as was the storyline. I laughed out alot, and it had me smiling from pretty much beginning to end. Bit of a cliche ending, but who cares. It's a great film, and you should definitely watch this one.

It was a great film Steve Carell and Tina Fey have such amazing chemistry together. They both decide to go on a date to a new restaurant which they didn't have a booking so they took a table of somebody's else's because they hadn't turned up.two men approached them to go outside thinking they have been chucked out for taking the table but the two men think they are the couple who booked the table so they are after the flash drive that has criminal evidence.So they are being chased by these men. very funny would recommend

I dont know why but for some reason i didnt want to watch this. Maybe my brain didnt want to ruin the gems of 40 year old virgin and anchorman.

But putting that aside. It all turned out for the better.

Steve Carell and Tina Fey put in an outstanding performance and worked extremely well together. The storyline was funny, with not so predictable events. And for me it just all seemed to flow quite well.

I dont see why others have rated this so low. But personally for the comical value of this and brilliant acting im giving it a 4/5

Date Night is one of the funniest films ive seen, when i went to see it in the cinema everybody was laughing out loud. My face actualy hurt when it finished. Absolutely love Steve Carell and Tina Fey and the too of them together are brilliant. There is so many funny lines, i can't remember them all! Not only is it funny but theres a good storyline too. I definatley need to get the dvd. Its the perfect movie, if you need a good chuckle. Love it!

This film really disappointed me, the acting was average, the story line was so unbelievable, which made the whole thing seem boring. I stuck to it though and I only laughed twice throughout the whole film. Its a shame because I expected more from the cast I would just put this to the bottom of the pile.

Having watched the advert I thought this film looked really funny but thought it was going to be another film where all the best bits are in the trailers. I was wrong.

I really enjoyed this movie but that could also be down to the fact I love the two lead characters and most things they done.

Would recommend this film to any one who wants a nice easy funny film to watch
