  As uninspired as its title

Almost offensive spy thriller with Diaz hooking up with indestructible spy Cruise in some half-hearted plot about a device that everyone wants their hands on. If this is supposed to be fun (and judging by the number of explosions, special effects and flying cars, presumably it is) then perhaps they should have considered toning down the violence: the body count is huge and no one bats an eyelid. Instead it comes across as an excuse for the stars to travel to some spots in Europe. And they can not even get that right. According to this glib mess, the bull run takes place in Seville not Pamplona.

Great film, good effects and very entertaining!!

This film is very good, it has a sense of humour and a very good spin on the classic spy story. Tom Cruise is fantastic as ever as is Miss Diaz.

The film flies by as it is entertaining with over the top action sequences and impossible gun play. The real heart of the film is that it pokes its tongue in cheek and carries a fantastic story with witty dialogue and a real sense of fun.

The film will be enjoyed by everyone, it appealed to myself and my wife and is a real good all round entertaining film. Its well worth a watch.

I bought this because I had a spare evening & it was cheap. I was suprised to find I really enjoyed it. True, it will never win an oscar but in a bubble gum kind of way it is a really entertaining film & the scene when Tom Cruise jumps & is side wiped by a truck makes me chuckle just thinking of it.

  Unexpectedly good

I expected a mindless, cheesy, predictable movie with over the top action scenes.

More or less this movie gives you a lot of the above but it's a lot better than I expected. The humour is subtle and smart, Cruise doesn't take himself too seriously and Diaz is great fun.

All in all very entertaining. Don't expect a great story (although it is better than I feared) or realistic action but it's great for the Friday movie night.

Knight and day is ok but confusing why?the screenplay well apart from being a jumble from start to finish is poor.you would think the combo of cruise and diaz would click but it doesnt.mostly down to the screenplay.the only think that keeps this film going from start to finish is the action scenes which there are plenty and very good.overall ok but dont expect to much
