 Good Sequel

I thought it was a really good sequel, although I was confused to see Juno back as I thought it was made quite clear that she died in the 1st one. The movie is much the same as the first Descent which I loved so it did not disappoint me. The ending was a bit off though, it made the whole film seem a bit pointless...

 More O The Same

If you enjoyed the first film then you will also enjoy this....altho i do agree with other reviews that you never find out what exactly the creatures are and how they became so.....maybe they will let us know in the 3rd????? A few good twists and the fact it carries straight on from the first means it flows well. Still frightening regardless of its faults.

A Film Of Terror and Suspense!

I would honestly say the first film had more of an atmosphere than this one does, but that doesn't make it a bad film. In the Descent Part 2 you find out more about the "Crawlers", like why they are there etc. Buy it, it's still worthy for a top 10 horror film.

 Disappointing

I was looking forward to seeing this as i have the first one which i really like but this just felt cheap and was basically the same as number one but a cheaper version they could have made this alot better maybe a little background story on what the mutants are. it was basically about a rescue team and the one girl that got out going back to look for the rest of the girls ( it starts were the last one left off). for the amount of time this took coming out it should of been alot better.

 Descent 3 anyone.......

I really enjoyed the 1st decent and the atmospher of the film, part 2 was a bit disappointing we seem to be no further on in the story, some creep bits, lots of darkness and blood, i felt after watching it that something was missing. Can see another one on the way as the film is left open, with more questions and no answer's

 I enjoyed it!

The Descent is one of my fave films, and i was like omg when i found out they were goin to do a sequel, but its sad they changed directors as Neil Marshall is just awesome and this sequel lost his charm. I enjoyed it because it was more of the same terrifyin use of the dark and claustrophobia as the 1st one. But why change the crawlers? They look like they've come straight out of Lord Of The Rings haha. I was happy to see Juno back in it to as she was my favourite. I think this is a decent sequel but totally unnecessary. The ending proves that. But all in all its a good film and was worth the money :)

 not so bad

the first descent was always going to be tough to match and although this sequel doesnt make it its not bad as sequels go. gory and claustraphobic it moves along nicely, spoiled slightly by ending which i was disappointed with. not bad tho.

 Decent descent!

Certainly not as good as the first film, which would be hard, considering the original was probably the best Brit horror since Hellraiser in the '80's. Nevertheless it is more than acceptable by todays standards - high quota of gore, and enogh shocks to keep you interested.

When i sat down to watch this film i knew that you couldn't beat the first, but as far as sequals go it is pretty good. It made me feel slightly on edge, not scared but its not often you find a movie that can send chills down your spine. The only fault i can pick with it is they could have made it a little less Americanised! Deffinately worth watching without being too disappointed :D
