Review

Alien: The terror begins when the crew of the spaceship Nostromo investigates a transmission from a desolate planet and makes a horrifying discovery, a life form that breeds within a human host. Now the crew must fight not only for its own survival, but for the survival of all mankind.

Aliens: Sigourney Weaver returns as Ripley, the only survivor from mankind's first encounter with the monstrous Alien. Her account of the Alien and the fate of her crew are received with skepticism, until the mysterious disappearance of colonists on LV-426 lead her to join a team of high-tech colonial marines sent in to investigate...

Alien 3: Lt. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the lone survivor when her crippled spaceship crash lands on Fiorina 161, a bleak wasteland inhabited by former inmates of the planet's maximum security prison. Ripley's fears that an Alien was aboard her craft are confirmed when the mutilated bodies of ex-cons begin to mount. Without weapons or modern technology of any kind, Ripley must lead the men into battle against the terrifying creature. And soon she discovers a horrifying fact about her link with the Alien, a realisation that may compel Ripley to try destroying not only the horrific creature, but herself as well.

Alien Resurrection: Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) died fighting the perfect predator. Two hundred years and eight horrific experiments later, she's back. A group of scientists have cloned her, along with the alien queen inside her, hoping to breed the ultimate weapon. But the resurrected Ripley is full of surprises for her "creators", as are the aliens. And soon, a lot more than "all hell" breaks loose! To combat the creatures, Ripley must team up with a band of smugglers, including a mechanic named Call (Winona Ryder), who holds more than a few surprises of her own.

this has got to be one of the best film series ever, i love aliens the most but all 4 films are amazing. i feel the funnyiest thing about these films is the fact that the speaciel effects are so realestic (especially the chest burster) but in avp 1 and 2 there crap as its mostly CGI. still these films are so action packed and un like some films you acctually care for the characters. plus all films have great stories and for £27 its a must buy.the only down side is 5 stars is not enough

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT

In space no one can hear you scream, its cus we definately heard it all on screen thats why. The aliens in all 4 films are terryfying all 4 storys are excellent and all 4 films are just totally amazing, especially Aliens which is the 2nd one, another sequel thats better than the first its actually the best one of all 4 films especially if you watch the directors cut, that version is amazing. A lot of people slag alien 3 off but i think its brilliant, i actually think its the most bloodiest out of all 4, but its great. As for Alien 4 they did the right thing by making no more after this one cus if they did it would have just totally spoiled the first 4 films. Its the weakest of all 4 films but still great and still action packed. In the long run the Alien Quadrilogy is just fantastic.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars In space...no one can watch bonus featurettes!

Not only unbeatable movies that set the bar for all modern-day horror, but fantastic DVD content too.

I learnt so much from the featurettes, artwork galleries and productin crew interviews on the bonus discs. Incredible.

You also get a little booklet, inserted inside the case that introduces you to each film and gives you a list of characters and their names.

Also, the box is gorgeous, the very stylish transparent green "pages" that hold the DVDs in place, as well as the holographic effect found all over the box.
The out cover is really nice, it has a beautiful embossed Queen Alien foetus on the back.

I bought this when it first came out and cost me £70, and it was worth it. I loved it to pieces.
But for this price...you can't miss it.

Even if you don't like it, buy it as a gift for a fan, its the best thing they could hope for!
