A decade has passed since John Connor (Nick Stahl) helped prevent Judgment Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now 22, Connor lives "off the grid" - no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. No record of his existence. No way he can be traced by Skynet - the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until... ...out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X (Kristanna loken), Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, the T-1000, this machine is as relentless as her human guise is beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), his mysterious former assassin. Together, they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgment Day...or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it.

Still good but missing Camerons' touch

The third installlment is pretty good but does not have the quality of the other two films. This is most likely to do with the fact James Cameron had nothing to do with this film.
The effects are great and there are some huge action scene's.
This time the bad guy is a female terminator played by kristanna loken. Although it does not feel right to start with, she brings the horror back into the trilogy and the feel of the chase.
The added bonus is some eye candy for the lad fans as she is very hot. Don't let that fool you into thinking she is weak because she is tough enough to beat Arnie up and damage him in a bad way.
Most of the original cast is lost other than Arnie and it does not always feel like a Terminator film but again that is probably down to the fact Cameron dd not have his stamp on it.
This is a good part of the terminator series and you will not be disappointed but I think this would easily have been 5 stars if Cameron had anything to do with it.
    4 stars only.

Not in the Class of the First 2 Movies

Didnt like this movie when I saw it at the cinema, just didn't have the Intimate Moments that the first 2 movies had.
Seemed just to be an excuse to make another Terminator movie for the sake of it.
The movie is not really bad, if you watch the trailer for it, it looks a blast, its just that its nowhere near as good as the first 2, in terms of Action, Imagination or Story.
The best part of it was the last 10 mins, which make the series come full circle.
The direction is OK, the Action set pieces seemed to be patched together and feel that they could belong to any Action movie.
The acting is ok, everyone does their bit. For me it was just general disappointment.

     Why did you come back?

Just pretend this film was never made, and enjoy the 2 originals.Dont be tempted to buy even at 2.99.

    No!! Cameron did not direct!!
BUT ALL TERMINATOR FANS WILL LOVE THIS FILM.
Everyone says without cameron its not a terminator movie, PANTS this is a terminator movie, its a chase movie like 1 & 2 this is a continuation and should not be judged just because James Cameron is not behind the camera, people should watch the movie for what it is, admitidly i do prefer the previous 2 especially 2 (please read my review on T2 judgement day) but i also like and very much enjoy watching this movie i feel it caps the story off very well also the story line is very good to it and some great action sequences to very well executed.
GET THIS VERSION AS THE EXTRAS ARE VERY GOOD ON IT....
    OVERALL AN EXCELLENT ALL ROUNDER...

Excellent film - ignore the haters

Saw that this was getting a few bad reviews, and had to add one myself. This is an excellent film, and I have seen it three times now. I thought the acting was really good. I don't think the makers were out to really flesh out characters and what have you - the emphasis is the action. And theres plenty of it, with memorable scenes and wow moments throughout. 5/5 for me.
