Ergo Proxy: The Complete Collection Box Set (6 Discs)

Ergo Proxy is one of those rare anime's that is both visually stunning and deep, it's an anime that really tinkers with your mind and its not long before you fall in love with all of the characters. As the series progress' you eagerly watch the development of each character; you watch Vincent Law change from a shy young man into one of the most deep and powerful characters in anime history, Re-l Mayer turns from an ice queen into a softer version of herself and adorable Pino develops from a one-minded robot into a little girl and at the end of the series you'll have to remind yourself Pino IS a robot.

I've never regretted buying this boxset and I've watched it from start to finish many times, its a bit slower than some other series but its without a doubt one of the best anime's to ever be created. Buy this is if you love beautiful anime's that allows the characters to develop and has one of the most satisfying climax's to an anime.

I bought the first dvd on a whim... and ordered the next two the same day after watching just the first episode. Beautifully done. All the characters ooze emotion and the choice of title music is inspired. Nothing seems out of place and it's managed to come out of nowhere to become one of my favourites.

This has got to be one of the best anime I have in seen in a long time. Got the box set on a whim after reading a few reviews on it, and never regretted it.

It is probably not everyone's cup of tea, being alot slower paced than it first appears, and the fight scenes that do occur are few and far between, being more an analysis of the characters and their inner workings. If you like philosophy, working things out without having it spoonfed to you, and bizarre mindwarping experiences then you will most likely enjoy this.

Oh, and Pino has to be one of the best characters ever!
