Quite simply one the funniest British comedy shows ever. Alan Patridge is one of the most socially inept losers ever to grace the screen. And not only is his character fantastic, the other's on screen are just as good, especially his crazy Geordie mate Mike.
All of the Partridge stuff is pure gold, and you won't be disappointed if you buy this.
Lovely Stuff!

"Lynne, you couldn't cook a.....CAT!"
Without wanting to over do it, Alan is simply the best comedy character on planet earth.
The only downside is that you will slowly turn into him if you over-expose yourself to copius viewing. This phenomina is known as 'Alan Syndrome'....you've been warned!
BONO!?

I am a huge comedy fan and all round funny person, and this (and all the other Alans) are quite simply the greatest British comedy since the Young Ones and Bottom in my humble opinion. If you dont find this hilarious there really is something wrong with you. However if you do, youll find youself quoting every single bit in different situations of your life (this is fun if your friends all love Alan too..a little less fun if your a bit of a loner)
either way, this is essential viewing.
