Multi award winning and best-selling, The League Of Gentlemen return for a shocking third series in a brand new format! Each episode concentrates on one or two characters and ends in a macabre cliffhanger. Something's in the air in Royston Vasey, as Babs is due to give birth any minute, and Pauline leaves her bad-girl ways behind to find true love with Mickey. Established residents, including Stella and Tony, and Papa Lazarou, are joined by some wonderfully bizarre new locals, including Sadistic Daddy - the leader of the Sex-Plorers - who demonstrates his grisly sex device, The Medusa, during a visit to the Windemere Guest House....

The Third enstallment from the League of Gentlemen and in my opinion, the most clever. Again we more or less start from where we left our characters, only this time the characters we follow, as well as having their own life changing episodes, are involved in the same incident. This means that all the stories or intertwined, leading up to one moment, which we do not see the repercussions of until the final act.
Not only have the League treated us to this very clever way of telling their stories, but they have also added more characters, as well as continuing storylines that is the patchwork quilt of Roston Vasey.
Unfortunaetly this is the last series that the League of Gentlemen and I can't help thing there should be more of this fantastic series.
Snap this up, fan or no. This is the last stop, before the movie and it's worth more than just a watch.
The. Funniest. Thing. I. Have. Ever. Seen.

If you are feeling low about anything, this perfectly observed slice of the macabre will work like magic. I missed this when it was on TV, and only came across it recently. Frankly, Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton, Mark Gatiss and the unseen "Gentleman" should get royalties for every laugh they gave me. I'd be bankrupt in no time. The care that they lavish on their creations to make them resonate really shows.
I cannot recommend this enough, and I have two copies in case I wear one out.
