Teenager Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) is surviving on his own, virtually homeless, when he is spotted on the street by Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock). Learning that the young man is one of her daughter's classmates, Leigh Anne insists that Michael-wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the dead of winter-come out of the cold. Without a moment's hesitation, she invites him to stay at the Tuohy home for the night. What starts out as a gesture of kindness turns into something more as Michael becomes part of the Tuohy family despite the differences in their backgrounds. This film was wonderful. It was very interesting to watch a film that is not all about a typical romance story and for a change is all about a true story to inspire people. I loved the cast and thought Sandra Bullocks performance was outstanding as was the rest of the cast. I enjoyed this story as it is all about laughter, love, family, personal goals and achievements. It was a wonderful film and is highly recommended to watch.
It is a very touching excellent film. Has real good humour in it as well. The story is deep and just gets your attention from the very beginning till the end of the movie, no boring parts. All real. Sandra Bullock is absolutely amazing here :)
Loved the film just makes u think there really are some good people out the that go that extra mile.. loved the film liked it that much i got my mum and sister it
All the people I know that have seen this movie, have all enjoyed it immensely.
And whats not to enjoy, Emotional True Story, excellent performances all round, and a message of real Hope
The story is very straight forward about a family helping someone, but the beauty of it is the honesty that it is shown with.
The acting is superb all round, but it is very much Sandra Bullock's Oscar winning performance that carries the movie through.
I think it's also worth mentioning that this is not a Girly film, but a film anyone can watch, enjoy and also benefit from a little.
Overall then A very Real, very Emotional Movie that makes you want to do good. A real treat
