Legion

This film is probably one of the most original in ages, dont listen to the negativity, its a stunning and visually great film to watch! The story is really interesting with an angel who has gone against gods wishes to protect a woman whos baby is the only hope for the future! The cast is good and the effects are great with some really freaky stuff going on and loads of bloody violence. This is a gem of a film and makes a change from your usual sort of movies! Overall great fun and builds up the thrills as you go!

Legion is top draw hokum at it's best.
It seems the Big Man upstairs is mad with us and has decided to put us in our place by bringing the end of days, by possessing the weak and stop the birth of salvation. It seems that the angels are not all nice, but more of a god hit squad, as a buffed up, tooled up Paul Bettenay falls to earth to protect the unborn child against the god squad. This all takes place in a small in a small Diner in the bad lands, as the group of strangers have to fight for survival against the demonic legion, that comes in all shapes and sizes from a potty mouthed granny who likes to crawl up walls the roof, to the ice cream man from hell and a razor toothed six year old who's handy with the blade.
This all builds to some good moments of action and suspense all the way to the Angel smack down climax.
Of course this movie is silly, but with a strong cast and good acting it's more fun than the similar Constantine, as it never takes it's self too serious and this all makes for some good Demon slaying fun.
It's daft and forgettable but whilst it last it's very entertaining.

Advert made it look all exciting, but nothing really happens apart from a couple of lose 'action' scenes where still nothing happens. talk, talk, talk end! movie was like a religious sermon with hecklers that swear in the background

Thought this film was absolutely terrible..there are no words to describe how awful it was, couldn't wait for it to end. What on earth were they trying to do with this?? The acting was incredibly poor and the story was ridiculous! Didn't care about the characters..especially the heavily pregnant lead female enjoying a fag!! Parts of this movie were reminiscent of Terminator..perhaps they ran out of their own ideas!! Awful, avoid.

This film has recieved an almighty bashing from critics and cinema goers alike but i think they are missing the big picture. This film isnt meant to be an award winner with a great plot and great performances infact this film is completely opposite to that. It is a fun action film as a group of civilians are camped in a diner fighting off angels sent by god to eliminate a womans unborn child who is the key to the worlds salvation. Its a mix of Terminator and End of Days in which supplies a great piece of time passing entertainment. Enjoy
