Dear John

I have only recently watched this film (better late then never!!) It is definately a must have for any romantic. Channing Tatum is an excellent actor. You can tell a good film, when you feel every emotion and this certainly did not disappoint - guaranteed tears!!

This is a good film from start to finsh, very true to life with plenty of thought going in to the making of it, a must for a good night in with the girlfiend, i am male but who cares

As usual I am left a little disappointed with a movie in comparison to the book however I did enjoy the film hence the 4 stars.

I feel the film omits a lot of the detail which makes the book especially surrounding John's father. I also have to say that the actress playing Savannah didn't really do the role justice & for me personally her character wasn't believeable.

I am sure that if I had not read the book first I would have probably loved the film so please do not be put off by my comments it is worth a watch.

I loved this film, it's a soppy chick flick thats certainly one for the ladies. I enjoyed it so much that I have recommended it to several friends and family members. Lovely film thats quite emotional, HIGHLY recommend. One of the best films i've seen in a while!

I absolutely loved this film. Not a fan of Amanda Seyfried but she does this film justice. A very touching storyline. Overall, a brilliant watch, and well worth the price charged.

This film is beautiful a true love story. The tissues are a must and the story keeps you glued to every moment, you wont want to leave the room for a second, gorgeous and brilliant, a real tearjerker.

Watched this film and didn't like it very much. It was ok but was just not very interesting. It seemed to jump from one thing to another a bit to much which I found annoying. The film is a bit on the dull side. I was slightly disappointed by the ending. Its ok but not WOW!

The story of a long distance relationship, trying to make it work without the other person being there. Sometimes being there in spirit just isn't enough, but can those feelings ever truly leave??
It's a fairly basic story, a summer romance followed by separation and problems leading from there. The story is basic and stays basic, it doesn't really delve deep to the level it could've. There's a few romantic and emotional scenes but not enough to make you reach for the tissues.
Overall: It's good for a single watch but I don't think it's a classic. It's a sweet story but not a tear jerker, not a heart cruncher, just nice.

Really enjoyed watching this film at the cinema, was a lovely story about a romance & what happens when it becomes long distance!!!!!!!!! Would definately recommend!!!!!!!
