Not only was it the best comedy series probably ever on TV, but the writing is so sharp you have to watch it at least three times just catch all the gags. Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker is the most viciously hilarious character ever to grace the box, with the most perfect supporting cast. And a special mention for David Haig in the later episodes, whose Steve what's-his-name is almost a match for Peter Capaldi in his sheer pent-up, dangerously-raging insanity. Absolutely top notch!

The Thick of It was great in the first place, but series 3 is simply superb, the writing became punchier, more intelligent, and the Cast gelled together perfectly. Peter Capaldi, Rebecca Front and Chris Addison are brilliant, backed by a top class cast.

This series just gets better with each new one. Series 3 is by far the sharpest, wittiest and funniest yet. All concerned, from actors, writers and cameramen deserve to be showered in BAFTA's.
Malcolm Tucker is in all probability the only politician I would consider voting for. Capaldi gets all the killer lines, which include the some of the best put-downs in British comedy history.
It's an absolute masterpiece of television.

  The best series yet

In my personal opinion, the best series yet. Malcolm Tucker brings a whole new collection of swearwords to the small screen as he handles the disasters of the ministers. An intelligent comedy, superbly written and brilliantly brought to live by the actors. More of the same please....!
