When Father Brown's calling as a priest brings him into contact with crime he uses his powers of deduction, keen observation and a knowledge of the darker side of human nature to uncover the truth.
The Man With Two Beards: Father Brown is visiting an old friend, Michael Smith. Smith is murdered, a robbery committed and the evidence seems to point straight back to Smith. Father Brown doesn't believe this as Smith was a reformed character - and he sets about proving it.
The Head Of Caesar: Christabel, an art student has stolen from her brother following their father's death and is being blackmailed by a mysterious false-nosed person. Father Brown comes to her aid when she rushes in to a London bar where he's lunching and makes a confession.
The Arrow To Heaven: Brander Merton, a wealthy art collector is receiving life threatening notes. His niece contacts Father Brown because of his crime-solving reputation which is soon put to the test when Merton is suddenly murdered by a Red Indian Crew.
The Secret Garden: While visiting his American friend in Paris, Father Brown finds himself with a heady problem when, at the end of a dinner party, the decapitated body of a man is discovered in the garden. The host says the case may never be solved but our intrepid sleuth has the answers....
