Top Quality from the Bebop Team!

From the opening scene to the close. This film is visually excellent, exciting to behold with wit and charm thrown in. The dialog is as always with Bebop, sharp and clever and the characters wonderful to watch and study. Even at near 2 hours the film never stops delivering even with it's slower elements eased with humor or intrigue. This will be loved by the fans and even by those who aren't I'm sure.
For guns, martial arts, government plots, super soldiers and more, check out this most western style of eastern animation.

 still one of my favorites

I bought this DVD at Play years ago and still watch it from time to time. It is and was a great movie that is also a good add on to the animated series.

Spike and his partners in crime are in a pinch this time (again) as a test-subject gone bad wants to destroy a city. The movie has the same feel as the series and features all the gimmicks that made the series great. For instance the 'bounty hunter news' with the rodeo-presenters.

long live anime!

 Favourite anime to date

Although I had my reservations, they were blown away within the first few minutes of the film. The animation style is so fluid it is a pleasure to watch, each character has their own way of moving which makes them stand out all the more. The strange mix of sci-fi, western and jazz music works brilliantly, and is put together so well that you hardly notice it. The titles were an absolute joy to watch, the music throughout the whole film coupled the animation brilliantly so much so I found myself bobbing my head.

The film is full of action and has received great reception, even being up for a best animated feature category in the Online Film Critics Society Awards, but lost out to Finding Nemo.

Honestly recommend this film, my favourite anime film to date.

This was only the second anime I bought. This film is so good I haven't yet found anything else to surpass it, (although I would say Full Metal Alchemist is as good) and I haven't even seen the Bebop series yet, but I definitely will!. Bebop is very well known for having great music. I listen to heavy metal so didn't expect the jazzy tunes in this film to bother me too much, but it just fits the film so perfectly it's hard to fault it. The plot is excellent and the characters (even Ein!) are all cool and funny. Spike Spigel is easily my second favourite character in anime (sorry, but Alucard from Hellsing is just too damn cool). Very highly recommended.
