This digitally remastered DVD release includes all eleven hours of the first series.

 Brilliant classic TV

One of the most influential pieces of television drama shown in the 1970s, created by the brilliant Terry Nation (Doctor Who, Blake's 7 etc). Some stirling performances and still every bit as hard-hitting and thought-provoking as it was when it was first shown 35 years ago. Sadly the recent BBC remake has made the original series very expensive and difficult to obtain on DVD, but if you can afford it, it's well worth it.
