Not quite as good as the book, but better than the first film. Kristen Stewart is so much of a better actress in this installment and the newcoming of the wolves was so entertaining. It missed out a few little parts that would have liked to see, but all in all, it was worth the 2 hour wait for the front place in the queue :D
After reading the book before watching the film the film really followed the story well, all the important parts was in and was really well set out. Kristens acting in this one looks more comfortable like shes enjoying what she is doing, although some people complain edward isnt in it as much, this is exactly how the books go and has followed the books really well. looking forward to seeing what they can do with eclipse.
As a guy unschooled in the Twilight series of novels, I watched the first Twilight film with my girlfriend and was genuinely glad I did. Both films have a distinct atmosphere and style of cinematography, adding up to a memorable and well made series. Although not normally a fan of 'chick flicks', the Twilight series - New Moon included - should be enjoyed for what they are; just great films.
I have read all the books many many times and seen both Twilight and Twilight: New Moon and this film is the best one made so far, i cannot wait for the third and fourth film to come out. I've read the previous reviews saying that this film is just for teenage girls, that has to be a load of rubbish. My whole family went to see this film at the cinema (ages between 12 and 65) they all loved it. Lovers of the book will be in awe watching the story unfold on their tellys. I am a author and a film lover so i think i should be a good judge on this film (as well as all the others who have fallen in love with the plot). . . . . . one last thing team Jacob all the way :D
