Marvel Avengers Assemble

This is the ultimate marvel comics film. So many super heros and they all have a big part to play in the film. If you like marvel films, this is by far and beyond the best. I only hope there is a sequel or three coming! This has become my all time favorite movie.

I was really looking forward to seeing this,but was dissapointed (if you hadn't guessed) with the omission of Ed Norton's Hulk,this,new Hulk was astheticaly dissapointing and a bit too human and vocal,Black Widow was the best character but it didn't ,as a whole float my boat ,I will rent the next film rather than buy it (as I did this one) as I end up spending money on mediocre productions

Years of anticipation and numerous movies all lead to a huge amount of anticipation for the Avengers movie and it doesn't disappoint. There are certainly a few plot holes but thanks to some fantastic action sequences and Josh Whedon's typical humorous dialogue it is difficult to imagine anyone coming away from this movie having not enjoyed what they have seen.

HOLY S**t!

Way back in 2008 after we all had a good time with Iron Man, Nick Fury shows up and implanted into our heads that the countdown to the coolest damn thing ever just began. It was a countdown to a movie of great expectations, the combination of Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America and other side characters all on one screen kicking some bad guy behinds.

After five movies and four years, it arrived in cinemas and we all had a blast! Now we can watch The Avengers on the small screen and it never gets old, it is a great film, a soaring achievement that was so risky and could've ended up as a disastrous mess, but The Avengers has catapulted the peak of geekdom with a fine $1.5billion in the bank and the countless fans now lining up to buy Marvel merch making The Avengers good on both sides of the spectrum.

If you havent seen The Avengers...fix that! It's easily the best piece of superhero sci-fi since...I can't remember when. It's tons of fun, it's got great comedy and it's a fantastic action movie. You've got your favourite heroes battling it out and each get their own fist pumping awesome heroism moments and...I could keep praising this for another twenty paragraphs, but the thing you need to know is, you need to see this and join the Avengers Fanbase! You won't regret it!

We went to watch this film as a 2nd choice when our 1st choice had subtitles....and we were so glad we did!! It has tension, excitement, futuristic themes and fantastic computer graphics towards the end. Just an all round entertaining film for the family - with the right amount of adult humour and thrills for the kids!! Just buy it!! Bev

I have absolutely no doubt that this movie is great: with this cast, director, etc, it would require epic effort to go totally wrong.

However, it would be easier to review it and gush out my longtime love for Marvel franchise, if I could watch it. The DRM in my DVD -- region 2 DVD, attempted to play with region 2 player -- prevents me from doing so, no matter what I try: DVD player, my desktop, my laptop, my SO's desktop, my SO's laptop -- it gives a disk error, and software analysis specifies fault being in DRM, which artificially introduces errors to disk structure.

I do like the Thor character and when the film came out I felt it was okay, but Loki was a bit rubbish. So knowing he was the bad guy in this I was a bit apprehensive. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it, there are good bits all the way through it with all characters proving to be entertaining. There are little slow moments, but while the individuals films have good bits in them none have as good a battle scene as the Avengers Assemble, just how can you stop a Demi-God with an army...?? Good 4 star film extra point for one for the Hulk.

Right, I know this film was a hit, but after viewing it for myself. I thought, what's so special about it, the main enemy is Thor's brother. The build up to the fight scene near the end took up near enough the entire film, the fight was only around 15 minutes long, of a whole 2 Hours 17 minutes. I have seen some of the individual super hero films, I have seen Iron Man and Thor, I enjoyed Thor, Iron Man not so much, but this was fairly average, some may agree, some won't. The acting was at a good standard and so were the special effects. But the film its self didn't hit the mark for me, I'm not really a fan of superheroes, I wasn't really sure what to expect before I viewed this, but the outcome was it was very average and didn't exceed my expectations. Watch when your looking for something decent to kill 2 hours
