David Fincher's The Social Network is the stunning tale of a new breed of cultural insurgent: a punk genius who sparked a revolution and changed the face of human interaction for a generation, and perhaps forever. Shot through with emotional brutality and unexpected humour, this superbly crafted film chronicles the formation of Facebook and the battles over ownership that followed upon the website's unfathomable success.

With a complex, incisive screenplay by Aaron Sorkin and a brilliant cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake, The Social Network bears witness to the birth of an idea that rewove the fabric of society even as it unravelled the friendship of its creators.

When I first heard about this, I was a bit apprehensive, as it sounded very gimmicky.
But I reserved my judgement based on the Writer and the Director, as their track record didnt indicate they would cash in.
The Facebook movie as it turns out is Much Better Than It Should Be.
Thanks to the tightly plotted script by the West Wing Creator Aaron Sorkin, sharp Direction from David Fincher, director of Se7en, Fight Club and Zodiac.
And all round Excellent acting, especially by Jesse Eisenberg.
Unlike some of Reviews in the Media im not saying its a classic by any means, but it is a very enjoyable, intelligent and intriguing watch.

i went to see this when it was new out with my gf and i was so bored i was falling asleep. there was no humour and it was all talking. if your a huge facebook fan then maybe you may like it but the only reason why we watched it was because we travelled a long way to watch a film and then it was fully booked so ended up watching this boring thing. in my opinion one of the worst films of 2010.

 Informative, Intersting, Recommend!!!

Well well well. Facebook the movie... Apprehensive i was... but for completely no reason at all.

This really is one of the best movies of the year. Brilliantly put together with some great acting. It certainly gives you the whole perspective on one of the biggest revolutions that have happened this decade!

I must say this is very informative, interesting and somewhat substantially mind blowing. Mark zukerberg i have to say is an outstanding bloke. 10's of thousands of lines of coding. Now thats some complex stuff.

If you want a good film... an enjoyable one at that. Then i would recommend this. 4/5

My best film of 2010, maybe

Ever since the trailer was released, this film had me shivering in anticipation!

Big fan of David Fincher, so I was going to go and watch it anyway but I was amazed at how well I thought Jesse Eisenberg did. I thought he was fantastic; smart yet cocky, sarcastic and brutal, he was the perfect choice to cast for the part.

I definiatly think this is the film of 2010 for me, this or Toy Story.

I was really looking forward to watching this film but sadly I have to say it was a bit of a disappointment. I found it very dull and boring.
