One of those films that is put together and the story told by a series of bizarre, abstract and powerfully intense images. This is Greenaway at his best and no matter how violent or disturbing the scene you are watching is the more you keep looking and look forward to the next one. Beautifully shot and compelling to watch. If you're squeemish don't even think about it, if you're not "buon appetite"
I'll be honest, thought Helen Mirren was fit so I rented it!!!-not disappointed!!!!!!!!! First half was the best, prety much stopped it after that!
