I went to see Sean Lock last night in Southampton (Lockipedia), having always loved his witty apeparances on panel shows. I expected that his quick fire wit would not be great in a full live set, but was thoroughly wrong. I've never seen a comedian squeeze so much material into a couple of hours- all funny. Comedy gold as diverse as, 'salad cream is albino ketchup', Madonna as an australian sexual predator, and his forehead six-pack, was all present. Coming away from the gig was like having a comedy zip file upload; a very large - hugely funny - file that is still unpacking itself hours later. Truly memorable.
Im a big fan of Sean Lock so i had been looking forward to this. Needless to say it did not disappoint. I was literally crying with laughter. The humour is witty and inciteful (unlike many comedians right now). Compared to other comedian's recent releases (Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr) i have to say this is my favourite (with bill bailey second). Excellent DVD, worth every penny for giving me the best laugh ive had in ages. Great!
