I think this film is amazing, this film carrys every single emotion :- sadness, happiness, humour, love, anger and lust.
It is an unusual picture that keeps you glued. I would definately recommend this to almost anyone, perhaps not those who are easily embarrassed by sex/flesh though!

Completely agree with all that has been said (with the exception of loulou22), a unique love story. Absolutely love it!

It seems that from reading the reviews loulou22 has entirely missed the point of this film. Ok so it isn't a mills and boon romance; but then most arn't; it shows that love, excitment and romance can be found in many usual ways and that people connect through more then just flowers and cheap chocolates. You feel that this will be a relationship that will last as they are both open and honest about what each other needs. The film deals with what could be disturbing subject matter in a sensetive way; and says a lot sometimes without saying anything at all; such as the end scene where Lee gazes into the camera, she dares us to judge her; but ultimately we don't. Maybe the fact that they end up in suburban sobriety demonstartes that within all the fakeness that prevades within demesticity they are truly honest.

The subject matter may offend some but it is handled in a very tasteful manner.

Excellent performances, well written with a delicate touch of comedy.

A really very touching and sweet film.

The previous poster has missed the point entirely.

The ultimate message of this film is there really is someone out there for everyone. What two people get up to in the privacy of their homes (within reason) is their business and they certainly do not deserve shooting!

This is a startlingly well made film, daring to broach awkward subject matter with the care and respect it deserves. Deftly sidestepping the yawning chasm of slapstick that would otherwise upset a lesser told tale, the film is controlled yet wonderfully off kilter, strange and unusual yet warmly affecting and touching. By the time we find ourselves rooting for this odd couple, we realise how effective the film actually is, helped in no small part by the brilliant performances from both leads.

You need an ability to accept in some way what and why they do what they do in order to fully appreciate this story. The end however does place these odd characters bang in the middle of surburbia, showing that no one really knows how others live their lives. The fact that they both end up happy, married and in love is what ultimately should matter.

Special note should be made of the final shot that lingers on Lee staring straight at camera with a non apologetic expression. She has nothing to apologise for. Her expression seems to say 'What are YOU into? Don't judge me.'

Original, daring and exceptional.

Please give me back 2 hours of my life that i wasted watching this film. Absolutely rubbish. i mean what are they thinking? Yes there are freaks out there in the world today but these kind of people need shooting. And to make a film about them, what can I say.
