Trouble and the laughs start when insurance man Leonard Hoffman (Arkin) decides to send his three sons to Yale. To raise cash, Leonard gets drawn into a bizarre scheme by Steve Rickey (Falk) and his screwball wife Blanche (D'Angelo).
