this film is in russian with english subtitles, so dont bother buying it unless you like foreign films
(First review I've ever written for play.com but felt I needed to do so, if only to remove the 1 star rating from this film)
Having seen the trailer on youtube a few times I've been wanting to see this movie for a while now and considering its only 3.39 at the time of writing its a steal!
Yes okay, first of all it is Russian made and therefore will either have subtitles or dubbing (well both on the DVD) and considering the track record for English subs it didn't bode well.. That said, the movie is extremely enjoyable after you get past the whole "their mouths are moving when they aren't speaking" which happens for the first few moments if you've never seen a dubbed film.
The city of Moscow really looks great in the film. The camera work is great and its a pretty solid super hero movie about a guy who has a flying car.
I won't give away any of the details other than to say that the ending really surprised me!
Definitely recommending it to friends, if you like superhero movies you really won't regret this and again at the price it currently is, it more than holds its value.
