Considering this was the first full-length CGI cartoon, it still looks brilliant and a lot better than some of the other studios' attempts that were released later.
Everything about this movie, from the script, direction and perfomances are spot on, with an extremely satisfying story.
Also, unusually, the sequel is brilliant too and it's impossible to decide which is best.
While it could be argued that the sequel follows the same toy in danger that needs to be rescued plot, it's all so well put together that you probably won't notice.
Possibly it might be worth waiting for the trilogy boxset, but this is still a bargain.
