  Christmas fun

Quite possibly peoples' favourite Christmas films, certainly up there in the list. These two films are in my opinion the best, they're silly, slapstick films but are good fun and popular with all the family. A great boxset and a great deal, two classics for the shelf that will be out and viewed every year!

HOME ALONE1
A Classic Movie for all the Family.
One of those movies that whenever it's on, it still pulls you in.
I was 11 when I first watched it and now I'm in my Thirties and it still entertains me.
It also seems to be ageing remarkably well, bearing in mind it's 20 years old.
The story is very straight forward about the adventures of a little boy who is left Home Alone, and has to stave off a pair of hapless Robbers.
It's pretty much non stop fun from the word go and is a very easy watch.
The Christmas setting also and a great deal of character to the movie and makes it one of my Fave Christmas movies aswell.
Macaulay Culkin is perfectly cast in the lead role and he brings the perfect amount of Innocence, Mischief and Attitude to the role.
Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern provide solid slapstick support as the bungling criminals.
Pretty much a classic for it's genre. A Must Watch for all the Family.

HOME ALONE 2
A Fantastic sequel
The Premise is the same but on a bigger scale, instead of a House it's the whole of New York city.
Again set at Christmas, which gives it a good vibe.
More Fun, More wince inducing set pieces for the Robbers, and a whole lot of fun for the audience once again.

Great films! The 2nd one is basically a clone of the 1st but set in Newyork but still amazing stuff and it just doesn't age. Want to get this collection but I'm a little worried about what daryl said about the subtitles has anyone else had this problem

  Excellent!

Having not watched these films for years, I decided to buy them. At such a cheap price it was really worth it! The films never fail to amuse me. However, Home Alone 2 had subtitles and there was no way for me to turn them off, which spoilt it a bit!

  A must see

Home Alone is an all time classic. Both 1 and 2 and very well made and are great value. Films you can watch again and again. Really good for Christmas.
