As a fan of Frida Kahlo, I was interested to see what this film was like. I am so happy I decided to watch it. I now own it! This film gives the whole background on Frida (amazingly portrayed by Salma Hayek) and Diego Rivera- her husband in Mexico during the communist revolutions. The cinematography is gorgeous- it ties in Frida's real artwork in the flow of the scenes. Its amazing, beautiful, touching, sad, impressive- I could go on and on. This is a must see for any Frida admirer or art lover. Brilliant, just brilliant!
