Very good and funny collection. Have to say my one came with 4 discs not 3 which was a pleasant surprise. Must buy, now really questioning weather to buy Season 2

  Stands out by miles

There have been many sit-coms from the US since the heady days of Friends and Frasier, but few can match CT.

Unlike some reviewers, I think CC brings quite a bit of Monica to her role, (if it's popular, why not?) and you can match some of the other characters to her Friends. But that's part of what works so well, you can start watching this from any episode in any season and just enjoy it.

After Dirt was cancelled, (without any good reason) CC has found another gem to star in, I hope it lasts ten seasons too.

Don't let the name put you off!

I was a bit apprehensive about the show when I read the name; I didn't know exactly what to expect! But I am glad I gave it a chance.

Cougar Town is my favourite comedy show since Friends - laugh out loud funny episodes - every episode!
Courtney Cox brings a slight bit of Monica with her to Cougar Town but this time she has a whole new bunch of funny friends to introduce us to with more adult-based issues.
Newly divorced and learning to be on her own, with a whole lot of fun.
The storylines are good, and the humour is great. Give it a try! I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Laugh out loud funny! And it so fits that it was written by the guy who wrote scrubs - same random but clever humour. Winner!
Jealous much?

I'd never considered watching this and randomly stubled upon it but honestly, i'm hooked!!!

Courtney Cox has been very clever with what she wanted to achieve from this show and has stuck to a recipe she knows will work...... a group of friends and their ups and downs.

It is easy to think "oh, another attempt at a Friends type show" but it really does work! The characters have been brilliantly cast and matched with the actors. Busy Phillips is especially fab!

It's escapism at it's best..... makes you want to be part of their gang!

Can't wait for Season Two! x

  Cougar Town - Season 1

From Bill Lawrence, the creator of 'Scrubs' and starring Courteney Cox comes this comedy show that ends up a blast after a few admittedly wobbly early episodes and problems got nicely smoothed out.

Fortysomething Florida Real Estate agent Jules is divorced with a teenage son, and an ex whose now around more than when they were married. Dragged back out into the dating scene by her younger assistant (Busy Phillips) she finds herself back on the dating scene - something she knows absolutely nothing about having got married and had her son at a young age!!!

Like I said, the show did start a bit wobbly but get past the first handful of episodes and you'll see a show that improves by miles as it goes along, with a solid cast - led by the fantastic Courteney Cox, but well supported by the terrific Busy Phillips and Christa Miller (Dr Cox's wife on Scrubs) with a special 'comedy gold' mention to actress Carolyn Hennessey as Jules' real estate rival Barb who steals every scene she pops up in - keeping you totally engaged all the way through.

Good, vibrant comedy fun!!

This show is so funny. like all shows it has a couple of off episodes but otherwise it's magic. Courney Cox plays Jules perfectly. If you haven't watched it before it is well worth starting to as soon as you can. I promise you will not be disappointed.
