It should be terrible. In fact it is terrible, but in that awesome way that all slasher movies are in some respect. This movie remind me why we all fell in love with Freddy, he has some killer jokes in this movie, that actually make you laugh while some poor girls dead body is being flopped around.

To be honest Jason doesn't add that much to the movie, but then he was never that scary in the first place. The whole plot and concept behind the story are amazing though, and the idea of having two of the greatest horror movie villians against eachother is excellent.

If you drop in and out of horror maybe not, but if you love horror as much as I do you have to see this, if you haven't already.

I absolutely loved this file, i love horror, i love friday the 13th and absolutely love a nightmare on elm street, and freddy vs jason is even better, and they are bringing out freddy vs jason 2 in 2009 made by the excellent Rob Zombie and it has Michel Myers from Halloween , which is another film i love.

If your a fan of the elm street films and friday 13th films then this a definately the film for you. If you have not yet seen it then i wont spoil it for ya, but all ill say is that you will be very impressed with it. Great action scenes and if your a horror/slasher fan there is lots of blood and guts. Its just simply a great film.

When i heard about two of the most frightining & brutal killers ever to grace our tv screens teaming up to make a movie i was so excited & it didnt dissapoint. the acting is great , the killing scenes are unreal & all round is a masterpiece of a horror. Must buy!

Over ten years has past on elm street since Freddy last was on his killing spree, he is a faded memory. He needs the fear of the people to bring him out of his eternal slumber in hell. So Freddy raises Jason from the grave to do the killing for him. This will make the residants of elm street think Freddy is back and will restore the fear, and will resurrect Freddy. but as the bodies pile up,Freddy discovers Jason is not willing to cease his murderous ways and stepaside so easily. Now , with a terrified town in the middle, the two icons of horror enter into a epic horrifing showdown.
As you can tell the plot is very silly, but the director knows this, and plays on the sillyness of it all. What we get is a very entertaining bloodbath. The film is a hell of alot of fun, with it's self mocking. Freddy never comes close to being as scary as in the original elm street movie, although Jason is the same, and you end up rooting for Jason in the end as he is just a brain dead underdog. The film rattles along at a great pace with some pretty over the top death sequences. This film will never win any oscars, but for a good night of blood and guts, you could do alot worse. This is the best film Jason has been in, but nowhere near as good as Freddy in the original elm street. A Very silly, very bloody and very entertaing bit of slash and dice !

I already own the Nightmare on Elm Street boxset so this was a must have addition to my collection, with the 2dvd special at a bargain £3.99!
Everyone thought that yet again Freddy was Dead and guess what he's not cos he's back and has brought another Psycho with him- Jason from Friday the 13th!!
Jason, like Freddy, just can't be killed as he's had about 10-12 films now if not more so this time round he intends to stay! With these two nutters on the loose Elm street is far from safe and the war begins!!
Loads of action and gore with the little bit of cheese sprinkled on top, this is another great Killer flick that you have to see! Nice one Play!

I gave this film 5 star for a few reasons, not because its scary, because it isnt, it just a great film, i really enjoyed it, lots of killing, violence, nightmares and everything else a horror should have. It was overall a very good film, and entertaining,even funny at times,get this!

this is the best film i have seen in ages a true 5 star enough gore and killing to amuse anyone i love the end when freddy winks after having his head cut off truly brilliant

Two horror legends Battle it out, not what i excpected.
Freddy Vs Jason is not what i excpected i excpected an all out war instead a toned down horror film with little hints of A nightmare on elm street and Friday the 13th series.
It is fun though to spot which kid have the Friday the 13th type of attitude and which kid have the A Nightmare on elm street attitude
worth a watch but if they ever remake a Freddy vs jason 2 i want it to be better, lol

the film was good but the killing scens was not that gory and the fight between freddy and jason was not very good and the film was not that scary
