Being Erica: Complete Season 1

I downloaded this series and I must say how much I loved it. Its fun, lighthearted and has such a great cast. It really is great value as you will not turn it off - once you press the play button!!! Very addictive and at play.com price worth every penny. Looking foward to season 2 and newly commisioned 3 too.

Really enjoyed this programme. There are some good messages in it as well. I would say overall the show is geered more towards a female audience though! Lookng forward to the second season.

this is a great show with quite an original concept. erica is able to travel back to certain events in her life where she feels she made the wrong decision and is able to change it but often has hilarous results. this show has had me in hysterics one min and in tears the next. loved the 1st series and the second and really hope to get a 3rd please dont cancel this one!!!!

The synopsis for this tv series didn't really make me want to watch it. It sounded ridiculous to be honest; woman relives key moments from her past via a disappearing psychiatrist and learns life lessons that affect her future actions.Sounds dreadful! However, it is actually well-scripted, well-acted and it stays mostly away from the cheese-overload that it has the potential for.
Each episode deals with a particular problem in Erica's current life, often to do with her relationships with friends and family, and sees her reliving and sometimes changing an event from her past in order to deal with it. I like the fact that everything isn't always tied up neatly with a bow at the end of each episode. I also enjoy the longer running storylines or her grief over her older brother's death and her confused relationship with her best friend.
I would definitely recommend this (I think it's more of a drama aimed at women though, sorry guys) and I would watch season 2 as well.
