Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) died fighting the perfect predator. Two hundred years and eight horrific experiments later, she's back. A group of scientists have cloned her, along with the alien queen inside her, hoping to breed the ultimate weapon. But the resurrected Ripley is full of surprises for her "creators", as are the aliens. And soon, a lot more than "all hell" breaks loose! To combat the creatures, Ripley must team up with a band of smugglers, including a mechanic named Call (Winona Ryder), who holds more than a few surprises of her own.

This is the forth and probably least popular film in the Alien franchise among fans but still a very cool sci-fi withy a lot to offer, the story is very good with the resurrection not only of the Aliens themselves but also their mother Ripley!! The practical effects in this movie are awesome yet some CGI shots are a tad cheap which lets it down a little, the cast is brilliant yet the acting is sometimes a bit no brainer! The ending is completely messed up and pretty good but not the best in the franchise, still worth getting as it is part of the big picture and is great fun anyway.

Love the Aliens series and this does not dissapoint its brilliant like all the rest. Well pleased and for the price well get it.

 Slasher Sci-Fi!

In this film Ripley is cloned 200 years after her death, along with the Alien that she was about to give birth to! Again, the Alien gets out of control and sets upon the crew of the ship, hunting them down in the same manner as a Slasher Horror movie! The whole Alien concept has got a little thin but this is still worth a watch.

 Alien with a twist

This movie is very odd, they managed to get Sigourney Weaver back to play Ellen Ripley and Joss Whedon to pen the script.

The plot in itself is a reasonably good idea with some epic twists and the chilling and suspense factors are definitely back from the previous movies. I think unfortunately there were some terrible cast choices who gave some pretty cheesy performances.

All in all it's not as good as the other films but it is definitely worth seeing for another chance to get that unique chilling alien factor!
