  Absolutely Amazing...

Ok first of all, why you guys compare this movie to the other three? they tell you to write a review for THIS movie, not a comparison with the other movies.

Anyway I found the movie funny, and a movie that didn't lost the quality of the first three PotC movies...Johnny Depp is hilarious and even if he was by himself in this movie, the movie would still rock!

It gets worse please don't make any more....

As the number grows the series gets worse :( I'm a huge fan of the original brilliant first film but please don't drag it out. Avoid as i tried to like it but its very poor......

  And the brilliance continues..

Upon first seeing the film trailers I wasn't sure what to expect now that two of the main stars of the film weren't in this release... I was a tad skeptical but boy was a wrong, the craziness of 'Captain' Jack Sparrow ensues on another brilliant pirate adventure. I can safely say the Pirates of the Caribbean has been upon the best films I've ever set my gaze upon. A must see for absolutely anyone who enjoy laughs, romance and a bit of bloody good action

Other than the 1st 'PotC' DVD, this one is full of action, adventure, great storyline, funny and exciting.

'PotC' 4 is not to be missed and well worth buying.

  I Loved This Film

After the last Pirates outing I was sceptical of this latest offering. But I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it benefited from not having Bloom and Knightly who in my opinion are mediocre actors and very boring. I loved the mermaids who added a touch of fantasy. Worth watching. Depp is excellent yet again as Jack Sparrow he was obviously born to play this character.

Took a while to get into but actually really enjoyed it. Completely different to what I was expecting.
The other films are all centered in my opinion around Depp, Bloom. & Knightley. This one seemed to have more going on, visual effects good too.
Would recommend to watch.

  Average Jack

It was great to see Captain Jack Sparrow on his usual form, Johnny Depp was magnificent, it was great to see him out wit folk and his get aways are awesome.
Ian McShane as the trecherous Edward Teach (Blackbeard) was amazing, he played it so well and did the role justice.
Barbosa was wicked and as ever upto his sneaky tricks.
And as for Blackbeards daughter, played by Cruz, although she was cunning like her father, she never really shines.
The mermaids however are both deadly and pretty and so spectacular, it is amazing to see how CGI etc has come on in the past few years.

All in all this film was average, the plot about the fountain of youth didn't seem to be handled correctly or for that matter shown properly.
Their was great chemistry between the characters, but I find myself yearning for curse of the black pearl as that was the best out of the lot so far.
2hrs is a little long especially when you find yourself looking at your watch a ll the time.
This film doesn't have as much action or comedy as the previous 3, but I guess this is just my opinion.
It is an average film with nothing to really shout about, but watch it and make up your own minds, for me it was a let down.
