You're a Wizard, Harry. (If it isn't obvious by now.)

As a not-really fan of Harry Potter, I can say that this is a genuinely exciting finale to the movie franchise. As expected, things get a wee bit darker, with a certain snake stealing scenes (and, wehey, alliteration!) and pushing the 12s rating a little bit for fantasy. The acting has improved from our main trio, and the effects are gobsmacking! If there was anything to let the film down, it's perhaps the slight disservice to certain characters come (x2) the big death-filled showdown and, of course, the silliness involving fat suits and artificial facial hair. But, whatevs.

  So sad

I was around 9 or 10 when Harry Potter and The Philosophers stone came out and its not every day you remember watching a film from 10 years ago and remember it clearly where you were, what you wearing and the environment of your old house etc

Deathly Hollows Part 2 is by far the best film in the series and the 10 year run is over, its been great to grow up with Daniel, Emma and Rupert. I always assumed Chamber Of Secrets would be my favourite as there's something eerie about that film.
Will there ever be another great film series like Harry Potter? Nope.
Just like there never will be a great TV Series as Friends. The best Film series ever is English, feels great doesn't it and on topic the 2nd best series after Harry Potter is also English, James Bond ;)

Also which guy hasn't grown up with a huge crush on Emma Watson xD

  Great Finale...

I know a lot of people will say this drifted away from the book a little but it still makes an amazing movie. Its the kind of film that blows you away with its great effects and stunning visuals. Great fun for all ages.

I have always been a big fan of the Potter films, and I have grown up with the books and films in my life. I'm really gutted that the series is complete. After the 3rd film (Prizoner of Azkaban) I never found one I loved quite as much until this one came out. Excellent film, spot on. And the ending does the series, and the genius that is JK Rowling, justice. It made me laugh, cry and gasp. Perfect ending to a magical series and I feel so privileged to be part of the Harry Potter generation. I'll make sure I introduce it to my children should I ever have any. I will most certainly "always" be a Potterhead.

  Excellent finale

Great ending to this series of stories. I did not see the movie in the cinema. I hope the fim print was not so dark as the DVD issue. In some parts even when viewed in a darkend room the screen appeard to be completly black! I made all kinds of adjustments to my TV and player, the picture was still very dark.

the 'harry potter' series has kept us spellbound for the last decade, fittingly reaching a suberb finally.
both part one and two were of course, very dark as the forces of evil attempt to end all resistance, and of course kill 'harry'
the forces of 'lord voldemort' face the final showdown against 'harry' and friends, appropriately at 'hogwarts'
the film is exciting, brilliant and totally absorbing, with great 'special-effects' ......well worth the wait to finally own the complete series.....quite simply ''a must see''

  the perfect finish

A fitting conclusion to an epic series. I am so lucky to have grown up as part of the 'harry potter generation' and can safely say that anything will ever match the excitement and obsession surrounding firstly the books, but also the films. Beautiful cinematography and construction.
