  Unbelievably powerful

I've seen hundreds if not thousands of films in the cinema. This is, without a doubt, the most powerful film i have ever seen on the big screen. It is an absolute classic and will be watched for hundreds of years with the same impact it had initially on me.

I have a copy at home to show my sons when they are old enough to watch it.

If you have not seen this yet then please buy and watch it. It will stay with you for a long time.

  spielberg at his best

mindgripping historical drama, told and filmed very sober. spielberg shows a lot of integrity here and all the awards are a right way to honor this movie and the story it tells. in one way: this is a history lesson that teaches us a very rotten part of human kind and its cruelty. on the other hand it's a story about courageous people making a difference for their human fellow.
if you're not moved by this story, there's something seriously wrong with your emotional (and moral) life!

  must see movie

I write this review more in protest than for any other reason. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but for someone to call this film 'terrible' is beyond me. You feel for every character that is suffering in one way or another from the Nazis. The film is an emotional trial but well worth watching time and time again to remind us of what can happen when racism rears its ugly head. Liam Neeson is totally believable as is the fantastic Ben Kingsley. I cannot imagine how anyone can fail to be moved by the whole experience. The film is an absolute masterpiece of our time and deservedly recognised at the Oscars.

  Very Powerful!

I think Spielberg portrayed the holocaust in a very realistic and upsetting way. The acting was great and the story, while sad, was worth making a film about. It is a very disturbing film but I think it needs to be shown. I think that it is worth buying, but you should be warned about how upsetting it can be.

Ths film is absolute rubbish why does hollywood insist on wrecking great storylines? The actors are very average Liam Neeson cannot act to save his life do not waste your money.

An incredible, emotional true story that in my opinion everyone needs to watch.
In my opinion - this is the greatest film ever made and worth every penny.
