High stakes gambling takes on a sinister new meaning in this third chapter of the terrifying Hostel series. While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.

ive got to say i was disappointed with hostel 3.yes this is uncut and there are some sqeamish moments especially the face scene.but apart from a couple of decent gore scenes and a decent twist during and at the end it is awful and forgettable.acting is well below par as is the screenplay.director scott spiegel does a decent job at the helm.but there isnt much more i can say but its barely watchable

 not bad but not superb

This new addition in the form of hostel 3 isnt too bad.

some decent gore and a good story with a couple of twistsbut, it felt like something was missing. Like an actual hostel!

this seemed to be a stand alone movie which directed away from the originals which was a bit of a bore but still not too bad.

Hostel: Part III - Quite disappointing!

I really enjoyed watching the first two Hostel movies for their hard impact into the extreme horror genre giving the audience a real sense of tense gripping moments and plenty of gore.

As for Hostel: Part III, The storyline tries to keep to the orginal by incorporating the underground network of gangs kidnapping poor unsuspecting soles to prey for their lives. The 'bloodhound dog' tattoo markings on those who were members in the original 2 movies is continued... although the motion picture is set in downtown Vegas.

If you are after serious gore again, then you will be disappointed as apart from one tense scene of a young lad having his face removed (which has rather tame effects compared to some other movies) there is nothing much else at all. Disappointing!

Worth a watch but that's all really... not a great fim :(((

Hostel films are not the kind of movies you come away saying "you know I really enjoyed that!" well if they are there's something very wrong and you should get yourself checked out A.S.A.P!
They are movies you endure. But in saying that Eli Roth's Hostel Parts 1 & 2 did what they did very well, being both nasty and devilshly darkly funny. Hostel Part 2 for me was actually better than the first, but many would disagree and the movie bombed at the box-office. So as no surprise this direct to DVD release slumps onto the market. The story movse to Vagas (probably due to budget restrictions) and now the now warped minds have given the plot into a high stakes bidding theme. With this being Direct to DVD it filled me with dread being a fan of the first two movies, but to be honest it's not as bad as it could have been, not that I'm suggesting that this is a good movie, but with it's limitations of poor acting un-wise re-locating that comes off as a Hangover Part 3 reject. The movies at least offers some good twists especially the good wrong footing of the viewers expectations in the opening scene. But what it gains in the twists it wastes on losing the smarts of the first two films and the final long winded chase is just dull. Also there seems to be a serious lack of gore compared with Hostel 1 & 2 which I suspect is down to the budget. On the whole it's not a patch on the originals, so don't even go comparing it to them. But with a few good twists just about makes this un-needed third entry watchable....... just!
