Five hundred years in the future there's a whole new frontier, and the crew of the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity is eager to stake a claim on the action. They'll take any job, legal or illegal, to keep fuel in the tanks and food on the table. But things get a bit more complicated after they take on a passenger wanted by the new totalitarian Alliance regime. Now they find themselves on the run, desperate to steer clear of Alliance ships and the flesh-eating Reavers who live on the fringes of space.

All I have to say is I love this show. Everything from the storylines, the acting, the characters, etc are just fantastic which is quite a common thing with tv shows these days in my opinion. I wish it wasn't canceled, if it wasn't canceled then I actually believe that Firefly would be bigger than Joss's other shows Buffy & Angel from my point of view. But I'm glad what they done with this and Serenity also. Just wish the show was still on air, damn Fox.

I'm not going to waffle on about how good Firefly is... But seriously, if you don't even attempt to watch this show. You can't call yourself a SciFi fan. This is the single greatest tv show to have come out of America in the last twenty years (if not earlier).
Joss' vision is amazing, the scope of the man's mind is a wonder, and he see's tv for what it truely is, an art form.
To anyone who has reviewed this badly, really didn't get the man, but once you watch one of the ep's, you'll swear you know the crew and your a browncoat through and through!
