One of the greatest TV series I have ever seen. With excellent characters and storyline it is a massive shame that it was canncelled. On the other hand it has been protected from being ruined like so many other TV shows that are dragged on for far too long. If youve watched the film Serenity then this will help it all make sense, and if you havn't buy it as well. The two compliment each other perfectly. Well worth buying, you wont regret it.

I bought the fill Serenity when it came out on DVD and thought it was OK. I never knew that it was a TV show till a guy at work told me. I thought what could it hurt to buy Firefly and watch it.
This show is the best that I have every seen, I got it in June 09 and it is now Jan10, 5 YEARS after it was realsed and I still think it is the best show I've every seen. The film now is one of the best.

It is a heart ache to think that this show was canned only half way through, but this is where the film comes in. The film was made to explain and tie off some of the running stories with a punch.

You really will find some serenity when you watch this show, great characters, well thought out plots, fast and witty jokes, packed full of action and best of all the under dogs are the heros.

Amazing series, it has everything that a great TV series needs. It's funny, serious and filled with action. I have watched this series over and over again, it's a great way to cheer yourself up, or to kill an hour. It deserved more time, but maybe in that it's a god send, before it was ruined like all long running series.
