A Tale of Love and Revenge... and Stamps.

Moist von Lipwig is a con artist of the highest degree: polite, charming, and skillful in his work. Nevertheless, as the story begins he is confined to a cell in Ankh Morpork and scheduled to die within half an hour after having stolen AM$150,000. He is saved when Lord Vetinari offers him a choice: he can walk out of the door (and fall to his death), or he can become Postmaster of the city's run down Post Office. Lipwig chooses the latter, hoping for a chance to escape. Unfortunately for him, Lipwig's first and last attempt at escape is thwarted by a golem named Mr Pump, who delivers Lipwig back to the office of the Patrician...

 I loved it!

I have read some poor feedback on Going Postal, but I personally loved it. I had just finished reading the book when it was shown on Sky. I love anything that is Terry Pratchett, and I can't wait to watch it again on dvd.

 The Best!!!

After seeing what the MOB did to the other last two adaptations (one of which I was an extra in), I am so very pleased with this one. Even though the d looks budget is small the production value isn't, in this Anhk-Morpork feels and real, the characters more filled out and the effects sit better within the story...oh yes there was also no David Jason...THANK THE GODS!!! PRAISE BE TO OM!

What can be said that hasn@t already been said. Going Postal is the best Terry Pratchett film todate. The films just keep getting better and better. What is coming next??? i am looking forward to it no matter what its called. Keep up the good work.

I loved Hogfather and was bitterly disappointed when I saw Colour of Magic, so I was very dubious about Going Postal. I'm delighted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it! Magnificiently produced production. Excellent casting and highly entertaining. I'm deducting one star only 'cos it deviated a bit from the book...though not to the detriment of the story...but what can I say I'm a purist!

Best Pratchett TV Adaptation to Date

Surprisingly enjoyable TV mini-series that was well acted & how okay production values. This was certainly better than Sky's previously appalling attempts to adapt Pratchett's work.
