BAFTA award-winning British television spy drama Spooks is back for another knuckle-clenching series.

Episodes Comprise:

1: The team is shaken following Ros's funeral but a boat rigged with explosives by Somali terrorists focuses the minds and reveals a new ally. Meanwhile, Lucas's past comes back to haunt him and unveil some dark truths.

2: The Grid's newest recruit, Beth, must face her mercenary past during an undercover mission involving Britain's top oil dealers. At the same time, Harry must step to the fore to prevent a vicious chemical attack in Nigeria and Lucas is further taunted by faces from the past.

3: The team is forced to work with the Russians to prevent an ex-Soviet state unleashing a deadly nerve agent but controversy abounds when the two sides demonstrate their very different approaches to national security. And when the plan goes awry the team from The Grid must find a way to prevent the nerve agent falling into the wrong hands without losing political favour with Russia.

4: Lucas's past comes to the fore as he begins to crave a normal life with Maya, his long-lost love who is now back in his life. As Ruth becomes suspicious she must also unravel the mystery of a delegation of Chinese security agents who arrive in the UK with a secret and potentially deadly agenda.

5: The team faces a diplomatic and national security nightmare as they balance the US president's first state visit with delicate Middle Eastern peace talks. But when an assassination plot is uncovered, everyone at The Grid must pull together to find the source of the threat - is it closer to home than they could ever imagine?

6: MI5 is thrown into a cyberterrorism nightmare when an American Predator drone on loan to the UK in Afghanistan is hacked by the Taliban and turned on a US army camp, killing American soldiers. Lucas is tasked with protecting a young ex-hacker who can secure the situation but when his own issues get in the way, how far will he go to protect his secrets?

7: Ruth must decide if an imbalanced MI5 applicant is telling the truth about a supposed dead drop he has discovered, a decision that puts her own life in jeopardy. Elsewhere an horrific truth about Lucas's past is uncovered by Harry when they come face to face during a compelling interrogation.

8: The team faces its toughest challenge yet when it is forced to track down Lucas North and prevent him reaching his goal. Calling in a specialist former Internal Affairs specialist to assist a team far too close to its target, Harry himself must nevertheless risk everything he holds dear as he confronts Lucas in a final face-off.

I think this is a brilliant series of "Spooks". I like how some of the episodes are in different terror situations and the truth of Lucas North finally comes out near the end. The show has suspense, drama and action. (If it's your first time watching the show it's similar to the U.S show - "24". ) The direction is top notch and the acting is brilliant especially from Richard Armitage and Peter Firth. The guest stars - the mysterious Vaughan Edwards played by the talented Iain Glen gives an impressive performance to his character and adds a good twist to the show, as well as Sophie Myles as Beth is good.

Overall, a must have for any one who enjoys intense action and drama. Highly recommended.

 Best Spooks Series Yet!

As a long term Spooks watcher each series is better than the previous and this has to be the best yet. Full of intrigue, terrific suspense, action and superb drama, each episode is nail biting stuff. You will not be able to stop watching.

The character of Lucas, and the on-going question as to where his loyalties lie, helped build suspense throughout the series. His growing personal tensions, and the personality breakdown was really gripping.
