A dark and ghostly wartime secret is about to be uncovered when a battle between good and evil breaks out aboard a WWII-era battleship.

When the SS Lane Victory, reactivated and deployed in the Persian Gulf for black-op interrogations, falls radio silent, an elite Marine task force are sent to apprehend the terrorists. Led by Col. John Willets (Lance Henriksen), the team find one survivor, John's son Colin (Gary Stretch).

But as the soldiers search for the men responsible for the bloody butchery of the ship's crew, they soon discover a more devious enemy than any of them had ever imagined and all hell breaks loose as they become locked in brutal battle to the death...

This movie has its ups and downs just as equally, up points its got a good original story, Lance henrikson is good as always, the ship setting is pretty cool, the downers are that the story gets a bit weird towards the end, its rather wanders off a bit and leaves you thinking, its not too hard to figure out in the end but is a bit of a brain ache which you dont really need with a horror, they should have kept it more simple. Not that gory but is fun for a cheap DVD night in. The features are average, theres a good on location short and a terrible alternate directors cut open sequence which sucks!!! The ideas are right but could have been better.

 I personally really enjoyed it

Another entry in the undead or ghostly Nazi genre is Nazi Dawn, where a small group of Special Forces guys are sent to investigate a distressed US ship that is prison to one of the worlds most feared terrorists. The viewer is then subjected to a formulaic one by one slaying of the supposed elite soldiers by an unseen evil presence. The film is very poorly directed even when taking into account what looks like a modest budget, the plot and acting are equally dire. The action apparently takes place on an ageing US warship drifting close to Iran but in several scenes the ship is obviously static, even the harbour is visible. More ridiculous elements include a shady government sanctioned ghost hunting duo, the unconvincing Special Forces and a misplaced father and son bonding moment. The single undead Nazi is wisely kept out of sight for most of the film as when the reveal does happen he is neither scary nor shocking. Overall Nazi Dawn sits dead in the water. Not even an unapologetic Lance Henrikson can save this wreck.
