Typical story of Kings, Witches, Dragons and Hero's saving the day in a far off mystical land. Kids of all ages will love it.

Remember watching this as a kid (and having the accompanying book) with my mum. It is now both our favourites, and my love of Gurgi may also explain my fondness for Compo in Last of the Summer Wine as the two are very similar! Quite dark for a Disney film,which makes a nice change from the usual sickly sweetness. The best money you will ever spend.

The late 80s saw the well known films such as 'The little Mermaid', but then there were those that got left behind like this one. It was one of the first Disney films to be rated PG with it's slight dark theme, but how can you not fall in love with Gurgi? And poor princess Eilonwy, she's an unknown Disney Princess that needs to be in the spotlight.
