Love Actually (2003)

This movie is a whole mish mash of love story situations with a brilliant All Star cast.
A movie that JUST about works. The storys are ok.
My fave story was the Liam Neeson one with his son.
Performance wise it was Bill Nighly as the aged Rocker all the way. Hilarious.
The movie is a little on the long side.

Love Actually is a fantastic Christmas film that will fill you with the joys of the season, Richard Curtis seems to have a nack of writing films that you can relate to and cant help but liking and this gem is no different.
We follow a set of different storylines that all seem to intertwine with each other in some way, shape or form that take place around Christmas.
We have aging rock star Bill Nighy trying to get that one last lucky break at stardom and will stop at nothing to get it, Alan Rickman has the husband who has his head turned by his seductive assistant does his faithful wife Emma Thompson stick with him or cut and run? Hugh Grant is the new Prime Minister who falls for the tea girl played by Martine McCutcheon, Laura Linney plays the woman lusting after her co worker who has her advances stoped every time by her mysterious mobile phone, Keira Knightly as the new bride shocked by the fact her new husbands best friend is actually in love with her, Colin Firth plays the cheated on lover who finds love in the strangest of places, Liam Neeson as the recently widowed husband struggling to get to know his 11 year old step son and his helping him with his puppy love and Kris Marshall the British sex god who is on the wrong side of the Atlantic.
All these superb stories intertwine with each other perfectly setting him a brilliant finale that will have you filled with joy and happiness. This is one of our favourite Christmas films and possibly one of our favourite films of all time and is watched every single Christmas witout fail to get you in that Christmas spirit.

This film is, in my opinion, one of the best Romantic Comedies ever. It's so joyous and you can't help but smile throughout, the characters are so vast and all so imaginative that it really is a treat. Also, it's a phenomenal Christmas film. If you sit down, light up your Christmas tree and have a cup of hot chocolate; I think it's easily the perfect film.

This truy is the best film ever. its the ultimate romantic comedy, not the usually 2 people fall in love more like 20 peoples storiess, and its got hugh grant dancing. what more do u need.

The title says it all. its the perfect romantic comedy with cracking performances from Hugh grant and Colin Firth. perfect for a night in with ya loved one!!
