From The Hangover director Todd Phillips, Due Date throws two unlikely companions together on a road trip that turns out to be as life-changing as it is outrageous. Expectant first-time father Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) looks forward to his new child's due date five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at his wife's side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when an encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan on a cross-country trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, many friendships and Peter's last nerve.

Went into this movie on the back of some scathing reviews in the press.
Worst film of 2010 they shouted. They seemed to be disgusted with Downey Jnr punching the kid!!!!
Maybe they were disappointed that this was the next movie from the director of THE HANGOVER???
Having watched it at the cinema, I found it to be thoroughly entertaining.
The Chemistry between Robert Downey Jnr and Zach Galifianakis was spot on.
Robert Downey Jnr was Brilliant. Zach Galifianakis was better in this than he was in The Hangover.
The cameos by Juliette Lewis and Jamie Foxx were adequate.
The Road movie concept works a treat.
The Film is not a Nice and Fluffy Ben Stiller type of family comedy.
Its aimed more at adults who will have a stomach for a bit of the Outrageous.
At times it is Meaner and Crueller than it problee needs to be.
And it could have done with out the scene in the car with Zach Galifianakis and the Dog pleasuring themselves.
As it seemed like a very cheap Gross Out laugh 15 Years too late.
Defo worth checking out if you fancy a Edgier comedy than the normal stuff out there.

P.S - the kid got a punch, coz he started it.

 disappointing

not bad but the film was majourly overhyped and as for punching the kid it was the funniest bit in the movie. pow right in the juniour lol

 a very good comedy

with Robert Downey Jr on the up and rise since his role in iron man, with his character if any other actor played him you would hate the character for just being rude but with robert playing him you just love him no matter how mean or rude he is too Zachs character or the kid scene lol. With zach just being a comedy actor at the moment his character is similar to that from hangover but his acting has improved alot in this. the movie gives some serious moments but then turns in laughter straight after it. overall a very good comdey that will have you laughing

This worst funny movie I have ever seen? Just dismal. If was not for the connection of the director of the movie The Hangover I would not even have considered it? 1 out of 5 from me.

this was by far the best comedy of 2010, me and my girlfriend went to the pictures to see it the day it came out in the uk. and from start to finish the whole of the cinema were in total histerics!!! although i think hurt locker was the best film of 2010 this was the best comedy. befor i went to see this film i thought nothing would ever beat or come close to the hangover but i must say it does come close. todd phillips for me is one of the best directors in hollywood and really carnt wait for the hangover 2 later this year......
