Due Date

it's always the same with reviews and comments: some people like a movie, and some people don't.
having said this, i count myself in with the ones who like this movie.
why?
first, because robert downey jr is a very good actor (and here again: some people will agree, and others won't).
second, because it is a fairly original story. indeed: along traditional comedy lines, so the odd couple, the road trip aspect, the highly unrealistic adventures, the sexual connotations.... it's all there. but then there's more: the little unexpected things, these situations that put you completely on the wrong leg, the a-typical stuff.
third, because the humour really is good and the downey jr - galifianakis combination works as firecrackers (and you know what? as before: some people will not agree with this)
so for me it worked: i had an entertaining evening with good laughs and wasn't disappointed like with so many other comedies, thinking i could have spent my time better doing other things. fact.

Not really into american comedies as they all seem to have the same lame storylines
however due date was a pleasant suprise with their chaotic struggle to get back in time for the babies birth and overcoming the many problems and obstacles on their journey. the 2 characters work well together in the film good casting.

Enjoyed the film but they really should of said if they were just doing a remake of trains plains and automobiles instead of trying to palm it off as a new film. Would of give it a 4 star rating if jamie foxs sceans were deleted.

this film is so funny and worth every penny,if you like a laugh you need to see this film

Sooooo disappointed, what a terrible film. No likeable characters, rubbish story line and no chemistry.

Well... all I can say is that this is a VERY funny movie... "fat jesus" as I like to call him, does a great job in this one!! I watched 3 times, still laugh and laugh!!

Loved this film, not very original. Almost scene for scene with Trains Planes And Automobiles. But that is not a bad thing whats it been like 20-25 years since the release of that. Since downy Jr's come back I've pretty much loved all movies he's done.He Is Sherlock for me though. And Zack G, well seams like a bit of a one trick pony, however very good at that oddball character.
Dont take this film to seriously and you'll love it, well i did at least.

its ok, but if you are expecting another 'the hangover', you are going to be disappointed. so many missed opportunities, with great casting, but the jokes are few and very far between. honestly, i found the gag reel in the dvd's extras very very funny, more than the film itself!

When I looked at the trailer to this movie I thought it looked really good and funny and similar to movies like the hangover,
This movie isnt as expected, its suppose to be a comedy but I didnt think it was really funny and I found myself getting bored half way through.
