Review

The most hilarious animated sit-com since 'The Simpsons', 'Family Guy' revolves around the Griffin family and their madcap adventures. The Griffin household includes two teenagers, a cynical dog who is smarter than everyone else, and a megalomaniacal mutant baby who makes numerous attempts to eradicate his parents and siblings. Heading up this eclectic household is Peter Griffin. Peter does his best to do what's right for the family, but along the way, he makes mistakes that are the stuff of legend...

Family Guy Season 2 is definatley worth watching, there were a few flaws in season 1 as it was a fairly new comedy but in season 2 they have ironed out the flaws and the jokes have really started to work. Some episodes are just based on one character which really let the character shine and you as the viewer got a better insight into there life. There is some brillint episodes on the two disks but the very best is "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein".

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars THE BEST animated comedy around

The simpsons has lost hilarity and South Park season 12 has awful. Now i can turn to family guy for salvation.

FG is the best animated comedy available. This is also the best season available. What can i say, it simply outshines the rest as the funniest, most ingenious and the most enjoyable with an array of great characters from a baby bent on world domination to a battle hardened crippled cop.

An essential, it may not be to everyones taste but the simpsons, american dad and south park cant compete with Family Guy in my opinion

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Funny as hell - as always

I purchased this last xmas for a girlfriend and still to this day, she can watch it over and over and not stop her smiles and laughs. We watched a few episodes on holiday once and she was hooked! haha. It has given us both so many laughs and jokes. As a series, it is amazing since it targets any audience really. The young ones can laugh but the older generation laughs harder because they can understand the rudeness of the jokes. And come on, who can not love STEWIE! Running around in the mud, being bathed in the sink, slapping and trying to kill his mother! lol aren't babies fun.
All though not the funniest of all the series as a whole, this is still a great comedy addition to your collection and I would not wait another minute in adding it to mine, which I did not. So get it and laugh and laugh till you drop!
