  Dexters greatest season

Stunningly good season of Dexter. From the story line itself to each individual character this particular season brings suspense, "didnt see that coming" moments and a real surprise at the sheer brilliance of this TV series.

If you arent a fan, trust me, you will be after viewing this. Sheer and utter brilliance!!

  Killer Season!

Only got into Dexter recently and have to say so glad that I have had 5 seasons to catch up on. Great viewing, great characters and stories and some great laugh out loud moments with Dexters dry commentary or something Vince will say.

This season though just blew me away. Great performances, a brilliant story and an ending that will just leave you sat there with your mouth open. If you've not seen this show get on it!

THE best series outta all of them. Got a bit shaky during series two, but then series 3 recovered it. Then I watched this series. It's deadly, watch it

Dexter has long since established itself as one of the best drama series on TV. This fourth season deals largely with Dexter's attempts to balance his family life, which now includes his baby son, with his need to kill. When he meets Arthur Mitchell (played brilliantly by John Lithgow) it at first seems he has found someone able to achieve exactly what he has always strived for but outward appearances can often be deceiving....

Many critics of Dexter would argue that the show has become more unrealistic as each season has progressed to the extent where it is now difficult to believe that he his secret would not have been discovered and in some ways I would agree with this.

For me however what the show has lost (slightly) in believability it has made up for with superb character development, particularly in the case of Dexter himself. Watching his development from an almost emotionless killer, whose girlfriend and job were nothing more than a cover, into someone who gradually realises that perhaps the people in his life do mean something to him continues to make for truly fascinating viewing.

Best season so far. we watched the season over the space of a few days all in all. I felt like this series was very on edge. The fact that dexter can get caught at any time really keeps you on the edge of your seat - as with the other seasons. The twists with the 'Trinity Killer' were really good too. The ending was the best yet! Very emotional and shocking. Definately worth watching!!

definately the best season so far... John Lithgow was unbelievable for the role of Trinity. Definately shaken Dexter to his core! I was gutted at the end...

  Best series on TV.

I watched every episode of Dexter, including season 5, over a 3 week period. It is without a shadow of a doubt, the best series I have seen on TV. Every season gets better and better, with this particular one being one of my favourites. John Lithgow is a fantastic addition to the series. Do yourself a favour, pick up all of the, you will not regret it.
