The first twenty minutes are grating, and the Top Gear stuff carries on for far too long. The material does feel a bit stretched to fill the time slot, but even when Stewart Lee isn't working at his best, it's still better than most of the stand-up comedy out there.
However, if this is your first potential Stewart Lee purchase, I'd say check out "Stand Up Comedian" before putting this one in your shopping basket.
I enjoyed this set but I much preferred him when he hosted The Word
Not as good as previous outings, but genius none-the-less. Stewart Lee is the best stand-up around.
