Saw was the ultimate success story: an independent film that transcended its low budget origins to become one of the highest-grossing horror films of 2004 and in doing so, managed to revitalize a tired genre.

The premise was simple: two strangers awaken in a derelict building and find themselves shackled and the centerpiece of a devious plan orchestrated by the dastardly Jigsaw. Each subsequent film in the franchise has explored the Jigsaw character and broadened his canvas of murder and mayhem. This collection features the first six films in the SAW series.

Box Set Comprises:

Saw: With a dead body 'resting' between them, two men (Whannell and Elwes) wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw" by the police because of his unusual calling card.

Given six hours, a hacksaw, and a bullet, the two men try to figure out a way to freedom. Hot on the 'Jigsaw's trail is Detective David Tapp (Glover), an equally insane cop who was once the victim of the Jigsaw's evil scheme

Saw II: Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), the master of mind games, returns to toy with a new set of victims, once again chosen for their perceived lack of respect for life. His traps are crueller and even more mind bending than before. And this time the policeman (Donnie Wahlberg) on the case has more than his professional integrity at stake...

Saw III: Jigsaw has disappeared. Now aided by his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.

One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped by the deranged Amanda and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw, aka: John Kramer (Tobin Bell), who's now bedridden and on the verge of death. Lynn is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that Jigsaw and Amanda have a much bigger plan for both of them...

Saw IV: Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw's latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle.

However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences...

Saw V:

Detective Hoffman and Agent Strahm clash as they each investigate the apparent continuation of the Jigsaw murders.

Saw VI:

The deathly traps and cunning plotting return for this sixth entry in the hugely popular SAW film series. The editor for all of the previous films, Kevin Greutert, makes his directorial debut with this picture, once again written by FEAST writers, Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. With Special Agent Stahm (Scott Patterson) dead, the sinister Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) has emerged to carry on Jigsaw's murderous work. With the FBI drawing ever closer to maniacal Hoffman, the detective is cornered into setting yet another gruesome game in motion: a blood-drenched pursuit that will finally shed light on the really reasons behind Jigsaw's grand scheme.

No matter who or where you are, chances are you would have at least heard of the Saw franchise (if not bullied into watching bits of it by your friends or out of curiosity). Well now the six most arguably brutal films of the noughties are in one box set, and it's great.
Cost wise, it's a total bargain, and if the Saw films are something you or a friend enjoy, this would make a great birthday present. As I said, though, the films are brutal (the ending to the 6th one is...yeah) and not all of the films are worth watching; in my opinion Saw 2 and 5 are definitely the weakest of the lot, and the only reason I watched them was to say that I had seen them. However, the others are greatly entertaining, and revel in the torture porn genre that's become so popular lately

 The game begins...

Saw is now my favourite horror series. Ive watch 1-6 and i love them all. 4/5/6 are the best ones. Just cant wait now until the 7th one comes out.
Saw ****
At first i didnt like this one but now i think its great, good film.
Saw II ****
This saw is a lot better than the 1st one, more stuff happening and more blood.
Saw III *****
This saw is when things uncover from the first and second one. This film is where it starts to get more creepy with the jigsaw.
Saw IV *****
This saw is when the series became my favourite. In this one more is uncovered and you find out why john/jigsaw does all of this.
Saw V *****
Another great film, i couldnt say what was better out of this one and the 4th. Saw just jeeps getting gorer and gorer. This film isnt really about the people who try to survive the tests.
Saw VI *****
This is my favourite one in the series, more is uncovered again, more gore. Amazing film.

The game isnt over yet...

 It breaks down like this..

That's the order of awesomeness of the Saw Saga.. and when I see the final chapter I can predict it will be somewhere around the middle!

But don't get me wrong.. All these films are better than 90% of the Hollywood Horror Genre. Great deal for 6 films.

A brutal, ingenious epic story finally revealed as a whole!

The Saw movies need no introduction. If you haven't seen them it is because you are not accustomed to violently gory films but this set of movies offers so much more than that. Shall we play a game?
When the first Saw movie hit the horror scene it was a huge success. Although quite shocking it had a smart and compelling story. It made you watch and pay attention because of the many plot twists. Figuring out what was going on and piecing together the puzzle was the audiences job. Very few movies, especially horror films bother to do that. Saw built on movies like Se7en and took it to the next level whilst setting the bench mark for films like Hostel, Train and Paradise Lost in terms of gore. Due to it's Success, sequels were a dead cert but no one could have predicted the how epic and successful the whole franchise would become. Saw now ranks up there with the Titans of Terror and rubs shoulders with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street.
So here is the boxset that fans have been waiting for. A collection of all Saw movies from 1 to 6 with space left for Saw The Final Chapter which is also known as Saw 3D. Although this set offers little in terms of bonus material than is already available it is still a nicely presented collection. One yours should not be without and at such a great price. It would be nice to assume that the final disc would be available at a cheaper price in a minimally packaged case for people who have bought this set rather than a standard DVD release in which you would end up with an empty box and redundant picture cover. I expect that the latter will happen and we will be forced to pay full price, unless however you are prepared to wait for it to go down in the sales. Anyway, until then enjoy this set as this brutal, ingenious epic story is finally revealed as a whole. The puzzle is almost complete. Enjoy!

 Love it!!!

I have been a saw fan since 2004 brought us the original film.
They are so much more than "torture porn"
With a gripping storyline continuing from the very first films and more twists and turns than a rollercoaster there is something for everyone in these films. They please gore fans and storyline fans in one. Yes they are very gory and not for sensitive eyes but they have probably one of the best storylines from any film series.
Very well acted and written they are a must watch for any horror fan.
