anyone who likes corrie even the slightest must buy this ,it can not be missed, mary and norris are an amazing double act, just like rosie and jason, and to see 2 kind of likeable oldies back is also quite cool, makes a change from ramming a load of new randompeople in and calling them new characters. this is worth every penny although i got mine for 9.99. the emmerdale dvd the dingles is also a great entertainment value, even if it had been on tv id still buy it just to show my support for an amazing show. my only downside is there only plain olds dvds and not high tech blurays, maybe the next soap release will be a bluray, eastenders, corrie, emmerdale, hollyoaks or even doctors the best soap ever, who will have the first bluray, dun dun dunnnn

Not a "Carry on" at all !!

The selling point of this dvd for me ws the description that it was a "Hilarious carry-on style romp from start to finish". Sad to say it was not, regular coronation street watchers might disagree with me but I found the whole thing lacking in so many ways.
Don't get me wrong, the ideas were there but the acting was not up to par & so many chances at hilarity were blown & fell flat as last weeks lemonade.
Sad to say I found Reg's character to be totally unlikeable & vulgar & Mary just comes across as being sad & pathetic in so many places.
I was looking forwards to so much more from a "Special".
