I was fortunate enough to have been at the gig, it was simply one of the best shows I will see in my life.
Furthermore, Opeth have just released a video sneak from the DVD for Dirge For November. The sound is as incredible as it was live, and the film crew have done an amazing job of the show.
Do not hesitate to buy this, you WILL watch it over and over.
The complete concert on DVD as well as the audio on 3 CD's makes this package the definitive Opeth collection so far. With an excellent selection of tracks, backstage footage and an interview session all thrown in, this set is a must-have for all Opeth fans.
I was also at this concert, and class it as one of the nights of my life. As good as some live DVDs are, few recapture the magic of the night itself, however In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall comes closer than any other I have come across.
With the landmark album Blackwater Park played in its entirety and a selection of rarities and classics from each of Opeth's other albums, all broadcast in perfect sight and sound, this is a DVD any Opeth fan simply must experience. Despite the high price tag, this also comes highly recommended to those wishing to give Opeth a try due to the scope on offer here.
