Emmy Award-winner Kelsey Grammer is Frasier - the hilarious psychiatrist first seen on TV's Cheers and subsequently the star of this smash-hit comedy series. Sibling rivalry between Fraiser and Niles (David Hyde Pierce) leads to some riotous cases of one-upsmanship in Season Five. Which of the two will find out the winner as they vie for the same attractive woman? Meanwhile, Daphne (Jane Leeves) finds her favorite pub invaded by a familiar (and unwelcome) interloper; Roz (Peri Gilpin) is expecting a visit from the stork, and KACL's abrasive Bob "Bulldog" Briscoe becomes the hero of the day to all - all except Fraiser who knows the untold story!

Another brilliant season of Frasier. I watch this over & over.
Some really fantastic episodes; Halloween, Voyage of the Damned, Perspectives on Christmas and Room Service!
An excellent boxset well worth buying.
Still great at this, the 5th year of FRASIER

I would have to disagree that the series has dulled since the beginning. Of course, things change - that is just what happens during progression and continuation. But Season 5 DOES NOT fail to deliver. It features a great episode with Lilith which has a lot of laughs to its name, it also introduces Roz becoming pregnant with baby Alice and a little problem for Frasier regarding his radio show...
But not too give away ALL the fun, the episodes here are great, continuous laughs, hilarious set backs and in grand tradition, featuring great guest stars within.
I need not tell you to buy this DVD set, since it is obviously worth it. Especially, if you are a fan of the show.
Still good for a laugh but not frasier at its Hilarious best

Season 5 is still great T.V but compared to say season 1 and 2 it lacks on orginality and ideas. I mean don't get me wrong frasier is still the best comedy sitcom your going to find on DVD. But for those of us that remember the glororius second season, then season 5 is a little drap in comparision but still worth a watch. There are some great single episodes in season 5 that do stand out such as frasiers imaginary firend, the zoo story, the ski lodge, room service
